The SbS team just returned from the Workspace 2026 trade show in Paris!
This annual event, held in one of Europe's most fascinating and culturally rich cities, brought together leading professionals and companies in the workplace design sector.
During the event, our team had the opportunity to explore the latest trends in office furniture, discovering innovations aimed at improving employee productivity and well-being.
In particular, we had the opportunity to meet other professionals, exchange ideas, and cultivate relationships with our clients and potential partners.
In addition to Workspace Paris 2026, our team had the opportunity to visit several exhibition stands, where various companies presented their latest solutions, from smart office technologies to new lines of sustainable furniture, designed to reduce environmental impact.
This has allowed us to gather valuable information that we will use to improve our future projects and ensure that SbS remains at the forefront of the industry.
Our return from this event was marked by renewed energy and a wealth of knowledge that we are excited to apply to our upcoming projects.
We look forward to sharing these new ideas with our clients and implementing them in our solutions, creating workspaces that are not only functional, but also inspiring and stimulating for everyone who uses them.

The general impression was that the fair, despite being Workspace Paris 2026, was more focused on the contract sector than on traditional office spaces.
We were projected into a purely “soft seating” environment with armchairs and sofas suitable for hotel spaces, waiting rooms and homes.

Traditional office chairs, not very much represented and shown at this show, were mostly padded and with high quality finishes .
Soft curves and rounded shapes : this is the trend we observed during our visit, with a wide use of recycled materials, both in plastics and fabrics, thus confirming a new balance between aesthetics and environmental responsibility .
FOCUS ON ACOUSTIC BOOTHS

One of the most promoted products during Workspace Paris 2026 were the so-called “acoustic booths,” which are gaining popularity in companies, especially those with a high number of employees.
In these spaces, workers can find a quiet and welcoming environment, perhaps within a shared open space that is certainly less suitable for concentration.
As mentioned during the presentation, we were able to visit and interact with our customers, some of whom were exhibiting with their own space, others were simply visiting to see the year's new trends.

In this context, we encountered various products made with our Flexy back technology, which in the contract sector represents a valid solution to the classic cold-foamed polyurethane product.
An alternative in terms of costs, logistics, but above all from an environmental point of view, as the materials used to make the products are completely separable and recyclable.
FOCUS TRENDS AND FINISHES
We've observed a trend in the world of contract seating characterized by the use of predominantly autumnal colors.
These colours stand out particularly when the seat is combined with a wooden base or a base painted in the same colour, giving a touch of elegance and making the surrounding environment more welcoming.
The finishes we observed at Workspace Paris 2026 are of high quality, indicating that the market – at least from what we can see from the fair – is moving towards an increasingly higher level.
The use of upholstery materials has also reached a higher level, using soft and comfortable fabrics, such as wool and velvet.
FOCUS ON THE ENVIRONMENT
Indeed, environmental issues were a key theme at the fair. We noted how reusing recycled materials (especially plastic) can lead to new products with fresh and innovative designs, and above all, a focus that has now (finally!) become central across all sectors.
Not only the reuse of raw materials, but also the use of fully recyclable materials during the disassembly phase of the product at the end of its life. The journey is still long, but we're on the right track!
FOCUS .... PARIS
And finally the eternal beauty of the city that welcomed and hosted us for two intense and exciting days!
A city rich in history, art, and diversity. A melting pot of cultures that blend together to form an international community today, looking to the future while never forgetting the past.
